Non-mandatory Appendix A to this subpart contains examples of criteria that will enable an employer to comply with paragraph (a) of this section: The front of the building under construction, east: On or about March 04, 2015, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than ten feet to the ground, while installing building wrap from a makeshift scaffold platform that was elevated with a Genie Rough Terrain Forklift (Model: GTH1056, Serial: GTH1012-16257).

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms that were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use: The front of the building under construction, east: On or about March 04, 2015, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than ten feet to the ground, while on a makeshift scaffold platform that was elevated with a Genie Rough Terrain Forklift (Model: GTH1056, Serial: GTH1012-16257) that was not designed as a personnel lifting device.
