OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falling/ejection hazards:    (a) Bridge Abutment - Employees were exposed to a fall/ejection hazard while working from a JLG 33RTS scissor lift that was not level.      Among other feasible mean o abatement include but not limited to: 1) Follow the operators Manual of responsibilities, (ANSI/SIA A92.6-1999) that state, the aerial platform shall not be operated in any manner on grades, slide slopes or ramps exceeding those for which the aerial platform is rated by the manufacturer. 2) Follow the operators warning labels that are posted on the machine that state: Machine must be on smooth, firm and level surface before elevating platform.
