Market Street, York PA - An employee was observed working from a 12 foot long ladder jack scaffold platform supported by two portable extension ladders where the ladders were set up at an unsafe angle, on or about April 16, 2015. The horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladders exceeded one-fourth of the working length. The foot of the ladders measured between 7 feet - 8 inches to 8 feet from their top supports and should have measured no more than approximately 6 feet. b) 401 E. Market Street, York PA - Employees were observed working from bridged ladder jacks scaffold platforms supported by three portable extension ladders where the ladders were set up at an unsafe angle, on or about April 16, 2015. The horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladders exceeded one-fourth of the working length. The foot of the ladders measured between 8 feet - 9 inches to 10 feet from their top supports and should have measured no more than approximately 5 feet - 7 feet. No abatement certification or documentation required.
