29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    a. Grob Systems, Inc. - Bluffton, Ohio: On or about July 27, 2015, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from struck-by hazards when entering robotic cell GU1419/01.  The machine was not guarded to protect employees from being struck by a robot arm when entering the cell for tasks such as, but not limited to, performing fault tests and inspecting machine components.    b. Grob Systems, Inc. - Bluffton, Ohio: On or about August 22, 2015, employees that operated the Eismo saw (model 650 SCA; s/n 268868) to cut metal parts were exposed to pinch points and amputation injury.  The employer did not ensure the machine's hold down clamps and rotating blade was adequately guarded to protect employees when accessing the hazard area to place parts and remove cut parts.
