29 CFR 1910.212(a)(2): Machine guard(s) on machine(s) were so installed that they offered accident hazards in themselves: On or about August 24, 2015 and in times prior thereto, guards on the slitter rewinder machine were installed in such a way as to create hazards to the operator in that: The employer installed a handle device to prevent pick-up rolls from falling which exposed employees to the hazard of being caught between the roller motor housing and the device.
