29 CFR 1926.451(a)(1): Each scaffold and/or scaffold component was not capable of supporting, without failure, its own weight and at least 4 times the maximum intended load applied or transmitted to it: Note:  Exceptions are provided in paragraphs (a)(2), (a)(3), (a)(4), (a)(5) and (g) of this section.    a) Worksite, 14 Penniman Point Road, Quogue NY: Employees were standing on a makeshift scaffold  that was unable to support its load. The scaffold collapsed with the employees causing them to fall approximately 11.6 ft to the ground; on or about 8/31/15.      NOTE: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

NOTE: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
