29 CFR 1926.1406(a)(3): When using employer procedures instead of manufacturer procedures for assembly/disassembly, the employer did not ensure that the procedures for positioning employees involved in the assembly/disassembly operation minimized exposure to unintended movement or collapse of part or all of the equipment. On or about November 11, 2015, at the construction site, were an employee was exposed to a struck-by hazard while disassembling a crane without being positioned so that exposure to unintended movement or collapse of a part was minimized.
