29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were being placed in services after the examination showed condition(s) adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle. a. Jobsite - On or about April 5, 2016 the forklifts was operated with the following defects: 1. 20 ton Caterpillar, forklift No. 1 - The horn was removed and one seat belt strap was removed. 2. Harlo Products, forklift No. 19, HR 1657 - The backup alarm did not work and the left rear tire needed replacing. Part of tire tread was torn off and the tire canvas was exposed. 3. JCB 940, forklift No. 11 - The horn was broken and the seat belt buckle was broken. 4. Caterpillar all terrain, forklift No. 15 - The horn was broken and the forklift did not have a seat belt.
