29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead:  (a) 213 Executive Drive, Pencader Corporate Center, Suite 5, Newark DE 19702 -  On or about May 5, 2016, employees were exposed to surfaces contaminated with lead:  1.  Warehouse Manager's Office  - Approximately three (3) micrograms of inorganic lead was detected in a wipe sample collected from a 16 square inch surface area on top of the manager's desk; and,  2. Warehouse - Approximately one (1) milligram of inorganic lead was detected in a wipe sample collected from a 16 square inch surface area of a mounted eye wash.  Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit abatement certification, required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.1025(g)(1): Appropriate protective work clothing and equipment was not provided when employee(s) were exposed to lead above the permissible exposure limit (PEL), without regard to the use of respirators, or where the possibility of skin or eye irritation exists:  (a) 213 Executive Drive, Pencader Corporate Center, Suite 5, Newark DE 19702 -  On or about May 5, 2016, where the possibility of skin irritation exists for employees handling used lead acid batteries, the employer failed to provide gloves which protected employees hands from contamination of lead.  Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit abatement certification, required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
