Such programs would support the employer and employees in identifying and avoiding potential hazards, such as falls during job site operations, decreasing the probability of employee injury and/or illness.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a)  Roberto Mendoza on or about May 05, 2016, at the address of 1233 Cribbs St. Toledo, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were adequately protected from falls while performing framing activities atop a residential type structure.  Employees tasked with setting wood trusses were exposed to falls of approximately 18 ft. to the ground below.
