Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to caught in hazards:    (a) On or about May 19, 2016 and at times prior to that date, an employee sustained an injury to his hand while attempting to clear packing from a conveyor belt, a Bradman Lake conveyor machine, serial number 15416 without a functioning interlock door devise at 1301 Fifth Avenue in Cando, North Dakota.     Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct the hazard would be to install a functioning door interlock device on the Bradman Lake Conveyor in accordance with ANSI B20.1 Safety code for Conveyors, Cableways and related equipment, paragraphs 610 Interlocking devices.       1. Paragraph 610: On all conveyor systems where practical, electrical and/or mechanical devices should be provided to automatically stop a conveyor when the conveyor, bin, hopper, chute ,etc. to which it feeds ,has been stopped or has been blocked with loads so that it cannot receive additional loads or material.
