An employee applying the spray adhesive to office panels was exposed to methylene chloride at an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) of 0.43 parts per million. The exposure level was obtained from a sample collected over a 154 minute sampling period on August 2, 2016. Zero exposure was assumed for the 326 minutes not sampled. The PEL for methylene chloride is 25 parts per million.
