29 CFR 1910.1001(j)(4)(iv): At the entrance to mechanical rooms/areas in which employees reasonably can be expected to enter and which contain ACM and/or PACM, the building owner did not post signs which identify the material which is present, its location, and appropriate work practices which, if followed, will ensure that ACM and/or PACM will not be disturbed: Central Plant Boiler and Chiller Rooms; On or about 10/18/16, an asbestos sign was posted inside the boiler room but not at the entrance to the plant. The sign read "Danger Contains Asbestos Fibers. Avoid Creating Dust. Cancer and Lung Hazard". The sign did not indicate where the asbestos was located, nor the quantity of asbestos in the plant. No additional labels were available to clarify this information.

29 CFR 1910.1001(j)(5)(i): The employer did not affix signs or labels so that employees would be notified of what materials contain ACM and/or PACM to materials that were previously identified to be ACM and/or PACM Central Plant Boiler and Chiller Rooms; On or about 10/18/16, labels were not affixed to ACM and PACM materials in the central plant. There were different materials used for insulation and it was not clearly indicated as to which may contain asbestos and which did not.
