29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special hand tools for placing and removing material(s) was not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone:  Fortune Metal of Georgia, LLC, McDonough, GA - Employees were exposed to an amputation hazard while using a Eldan Hydraulic Shear Serial #E4316, Model #200-100 when the point of operation was not guarded with a guarding device that conformed to requirements specified in 1910.212(a)(2), in that the guarding device used did not prevent the operator from having any part of his/her body in the danger zone during the operating cycle. An employee's left thumb was amputated, on or about 10/10/2016..
