29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): The employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violation had been abated:  a)  2-44 Cornelia St., Newark, NJ  The employer did not provide abatement certification for inspection number 1189681 as indicated below:   1.      Citation 1 Item 1 pertaining to 29 CFR 1910.176(a) which was issued on 03/24/2017.  Abatement for this item was due on 05/10/2017.  Employer received citations on 04/03/2017.  Violation occurred on or about 11/08/2016.

29 CFR 1910.176(a): Where mechanical handling equipment was used, permanent aisles or passageways were not appropriately marked:    a) Storage area    Where employees operated motorized rider pallet jacks and forklift trucks, aisles were not marked to identify traffic lanes for motorized material handling equipment.  On 11/01/2016, an employee operating a motorized pallet jack struck the forks the of a parked forklift truck located in an opposing travel position, causing the employee to be thrown from the pallet jack.  In addition, designated pedestrian walkways were not provided.    Condition observed on or about 11/8/2016
