29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): No employer shall permit an employee to work in such proximity to any part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work, unless the employee is protected against electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means. a. On the side of the house an employee was pulling aluminum siding from the side of the roof, the employee was working within five feet of the energized electrical wires from the pole to the house thereby exposing the employee to an electrical hazard.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502. a. On the roof where employees were tearing off the roof on a multi unit housing complex, the employer did not provide or enforce the use of fall protection thereby exposing employees to a 18 foot fall hazard.

On the site where employees were working at heights which exceeded 6 feet, the employer did not provide fall protection training to employees working on the roof thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard.
