Such processing can potentially emit chemicals such as hydrogen sulfide and dusts which can irritate the eyes, skin and respiratory system. In addition, BPI Molecular Catalytic dyes, including the Yellow dye which contains a suspected carcinogen, which were used for lens tinting, were used and stored in areas accessed by the employees.
