29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use: a) At 3488 Ponce De Leon Ct Gulf Shores, Alabama: On or about January 24, 2017 and at times prior; the controlling employer permitted contracted employees to work from a job made platform that was being lifted by a powered industrial truck that was not approved for use by the manufacturer exposing the contracted employees to a fall hazard of 18 feet 6 inches to the ground below.
