29 CFR 1910.95(g)(5)(i): The employer did not establish, within 6 months of an employee's first exposure at or above the action level, a valid baseline audiogram against which subsequent audiograms can be compared: a) Rosler Room and Blast Room: An employee, Rosler and Blast Operator, operating the Rosler machine was exposed to continuous noise at 133.6% of the permissible exposure level of 90 dBA or an eight-hour time-weighted average of 92.0 dBA. This exposure was observed over a 473 minute sampling period on April 18, 2017. New temporary employees were exposed to these noise levels and were not provided an audiogram within 6 months of the employee's first exposure, on or about April 6, 2017. No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1910.95(k)(1): The employer did not train each employee who is exposed to noise at or above an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.95(k): a) Rosler Room and Blast Room: An employee, Rosler and Blast Operator, operating the Rosler machine was exposed to continuous noise at 133.6% of the permissible exposure level of 90 dBA or an eight-hour time-weighted average of 92.0 dBA. This exposure was observed over a 473 minute sampling period on April 18, 2017. New temporary employees exposed to these noise levels were not provided training on the effects of noise; purpose of hearing protection and the advantages; and the purpose of audiometric testing, on or about April 6, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
