29 CFR 1926.55(a): Employee(s) were exposed to material(s) at concentrations above those specified in the Threshold Limit Values of Airborne Contaminants for 1970 of the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists: a) 907 Connor Ct, Sinking Spring PA - An employee using a gas powered walk-behind saw in the basement of a home to cut concrete was overexposed to carbon monoxide at a 8 hour time weighted average of 91 parts per million (ppm), approximately 1.83 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 ppm, on or about February 2, 2017. b) 907 Connor Ct, Sinking Spring PA - An employee using a gas powered walk-behind saw in the basement of a home to cut concrete was overexposed to carbon monoxide at a 8 hour time weighted average of 182 parts per million (ppm), approximately 3.64 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 ppm, on or about February 2, 2017. 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop or implement a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200 (f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) a) Job site - The employer did not develop or implement a written hazard communication program where employees were using a gas powered walk-behind concrete saw to make cuts in a concrete slab and were exposed to hazardous materials not limited to gasoline and carbon monoxide, on or about February 2, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
