29 CFR 1910.272(n): The employer did not equip grain stream processing equipment (such as hammer mills, grinders, and pulverizers) at the grain handling facility with an effective means of removing ferrous material from the incoming grain stream: At the time of the inspection, the Ferrell Ross Flaker was not equipped with a means to remove tramp metal from grain prior to processing. The Flaker was a type of roller that crushed corn between two cast iron metal rollers. Ferrous metal from incoming grain would cause a potential ignition source inside the Flaker.
