On or about March 3, 2017, an employee working in the facility at a pallet repair station was exposed to continuous noise levels at 199.7% of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 80 dBA) during the 475 minute sampling period on March 3, 2017; exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 5 minutes not sampled.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1904.19(d)

On or about March 3rd, 2017, the employer did not ensure that working space was maintained around a pair of electrical panels located adjacent to the wood fired heater, as the panels were blocked with a pallet loaded with wood, slowing employee access to the panels in the event of an emergency.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1904.19(d).
