29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): Signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent: (a) On or about 3/22/2017, employees of Chester Auto Parts, Inc. working in the warehouse at 1827 Pitkin Avenue were exposed to fire hazards because the employer did not ensure that signs were posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent. The employer did not have exit access lead-in signage in the facility. The following are instances: (1) for the aisleways on the ground floor level of the warehouse (2) for the aisleways on the mezzanine level of the warehouse

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color: (a) On or about 3/22/2017, employees of Chester Auto Parts, Inc. working in the warehouse at 1827 Pitkin Avenue were exposed to fire hazards because the employer did not ensure that exit signs were illuminated and distinctive in color. The following are instances: (1) for the SE corner exit door (2) for the SW corner exit door
