29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s):  a)    On or about 5/2/2017, the company had four (4) cut off saws that did not protect the point of operation. One of the saws was a GRUTTER brand and three were GRIZZLY brand saws.  b)    On or about 5/2/2017, Chipper chute was not guarded to protect employees from coming into contact with chipper. It was approximately 12" from the frame of the machine to the chipper.

29 CFR 1910.213(a)(9): All belts, pulleys, gears, shafts, and moving parts were not guarded in accordance with the specific requirements of 1910.219:  a)    On or about 5/2/2017, Conveyor drive for outside conveyor to chipper had an unguarded chain and sprockets.  b)    On or about 5/2/2017, Chipper had unguarded drive belts for the chipper and the hopper vibrator.  c)    On or about 5/2/2017, Conveyor belt drives for conveyor belts feeding wood to INTERWOOD 609C needed the chain and sprocket plus the belt and pulley guarded.  d)    On or about 5/2/2017, The GRUTTER cut off saw needed the belts and pulley guarded.
