OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees  Location: Store   The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards in that the temperature inside the store was excessive and had caused some employees to experience heat stress.   On the day of the inspection, the temperature inside the store averaged over 93 degrees Fahrenheit, and the Heat Index averaged 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
