Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On 7/9/2017, workers from Lovos Contracting LLC were repairing a roof of a commercial building located at 508 North Highway 47, Warrenton, MO. The owner, foremen and seven employees were repairing a roof which was approximately 12 feet above the ground, without the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
