29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them: a. Site - On or about June 23, 2017, the employer failed to conduct frequent and regular inspections to ensure that the fall protection equipment was properly installed and in use by the employees to prevent fall hazards.
