OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: On or about August 2, 2017, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while working near a 3/4-inch wire cable line used on the south WinTech winch, model number CP25000-20-BMS, that was not of a size, minimum braking force and construction to withstand the loads imposed. The manufacturer's specification sheet requires a 7/8-inch diameter wire rope.
