29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) At a residential construction site located at 804 Oriole Ct in Blue Springs, MO: Employees were exposed to harmful chemicals that could cause injuries and/or illnesses in that the employer had not developed, or implemented, a written hazard communication program. This was demonstrated at the residential construction site when 4 employees were dispensing gasoline for use in powering a air compressor for the pneumatic nail guns.

Employees were engaged in roofing activities with the use of nail guns in that eye protection was not provided while installing roofing material.
