29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a): 86 Emerson Street, Carteret, NJ 07008. Employees were exposed to head injuries when working at ground level, under active rip and tear roofing operation while not wearing head protection, i.e. hard hats. Occurred on 11/01/17

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above the lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: a) 86 Emerson Street, Carteret, NJ 07008. One employee was exposed fall hazards in excess of 23 feet from the eave to the ground below when doing rip and tear roofing work while not wearing any fall protection. b) 86 Emerson Street, Carteret, NJ 07008. Two employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 12 feet from the eave to the ground when doing rip and tear roofing work while not wearing any fall protection. Occurred on 11/01/17
