29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:   a.  On the west side of the production area, a temporary worker proceeded to clear a plastic bottle jam in the trimmer of the Uniloy Blow molding machine with his right hand and suffered an amputation of the index and middle finger due to a lack of a guard on the flap gate located on the surface of the trimmer, as observed on or about 09/20/2017.
