29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: Transdev, Inc., Norcross, GA - On or about 3/28/2018, employees were exposed to chemical burn hazards when working with corrosive chemicals when the employer did not have a suitable facility for quick drenching or flushing eyes and body for immediate use: a) the safety shower in the old maintenance shop was turned off at the source. b) the eye wash station in the new maintenance shop was not accessible for immediate emergency use when employees working on one side of the shop had to maneuver between posts and buses to get to the eye wash station on the other side of the shop when needed.
