29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a)  At 1475 Monument Park Drive, Montgomery, Alabama:  On or about April 12, 2018 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities while standing on top of ceiling joists without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 10 feet 1 inch to the concrete floor below.   THE GULF STATES CONSTRUCTION, LLC  WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1218585, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MAY 26, 2017, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 9225 SHERATON PARK WAY, MONTGOMERY,  ALABAMA AND IN INSPECTION NUMBER 1177072, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON FEBRUARY 2, 2017, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 9 LAUREL BROOK LN., MONTGOMERY,  ALABAMA .
