Coater Plant: On or about 5/2/2018, the employees were exposed to chemical hazards, in that a written hazard communication program was not implemented to employees handling hazardous chemicals such as propane.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical  a)Propane Tank Area: On or about 5/2/18, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards in that the propane tank was not labeled while extracting fuel for operation of the forklifts.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv):   The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the  safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information:   Propane Tank Area: On or about 5/2/2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards in that training on safety data sheets (SDS) was not provided to employees while assigned to work with hazardous chemicals such as propane.
