29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut.    Bay area, on or about 05 June 2018 and times prior thereto; a Powermatic 66 table saw, model number 66, serial number 956611338, did not have the splitter and guard assembly installed. This condition exposed employees to a caught in hazard.

29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(i): Portable cord and plug connected equipment and flexible cord sets (extension cords) were not visually inspected before use on any shift for external defects (such as loose parts, deformed and missing pins, or damage to outer jacket or insulation) and for evidence of possible internal damage (such as pinched or crushed outer jacket).    Bay area, adjacent to the work bench; on or about 05 June 2018 and times prior thereto, an energized 50-foot heavy-duty black extension cord had a damaged plug. This condition exposed employees to an electrical shock and electrical burn hazard.
