29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: MCRD Child Care Center: Employees were repairing drywall and painting with chemicals such as Westpac All Purpose Joint Compound and Lead Stop Lead Encapsulating Compound primer. A copy of the written hazard communication program was not maintained at the jobsite. Employees were exposed to chemical inhalation hazards.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): MCRD Child Care Center: Employees were performing drywall repair and painting operations at the worksite. Copies of the following safety data sheets were not available onsite at the time of the inspection: a) Westpac Ready-Mixed Drywall Joint Compounds b) Lead Stop - Lead Encapsulating Compound Employees were exposed to chemical inhalation hazards.
