29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy:    (a) Sawmill, edger line; On or about September 5, 2018, the energy isolation (lockout) procedures did not identify how to shutdown, isolate, block, and secure pneumatic and gravity energy sources for the edger pressure rollers.

29 CFR 1910.147(d)(4)(i): Lockout or tagout devices were not affixed to each energy isolating device by authorized employees:    (a) Sawmill, edger line; Lockout or tagout devices were not used to secure pneumatic valves in the off position for the edger in-feed table part stops or for the edger pressure rollers during servicing activities, such as cleaning, lubricating, and changing blades.    The Biewer-Wisconsin Sawmill, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(d)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1238126, citation number 1, item number 1c and was affirmed as a final order on November 28, 2017 with respect to a workplace located at 400 Red Pine Court, Prentice, WI 54556.
