Production Lines - On or about and times prior to October 23, 2018, the employer's written energy control procedures (i.e. lockout/tagout procedures) for cleaning and sanitizing the production lines (e.g. conveyor belts and rollers) failed to specifically outline the following: 1. Procedural steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking, and securing all sources of hazardous energy (e.g. electrical); 2. Procedural steps for placement, removal, and transfer of lockout/tagout devices; and 3. Procedural steps for testing the production lines to verify the effectiveness of the energy control measures.
