OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees.  a. Located at 2450 Olentangy Road in Columbus, Ohio: On or about November 20, 2018, an employee was hand feeding a piece of aluminum modular wall door trim into a portable DeWALT, Model DWM120, electric band saw. The saw was hung vertically from the rung of a four foot fiberglass step ladder. The adjustable handle of the saw was clamped to the rung of the ladder with an IRWIN quick-grip clamp and the trigger was clamped in the ON position. The saw was not used as intended by the manufacturer and exposed the employee to the hazard of contacting the moving cutting blade.
