29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:   a) Sheet Metal Shop - On or about 11/28/2018, the employer exposed employees to hazardous chemicals in that the employer did not implement and maintain a written hazard communication program to employees working with hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to propane, steel and tungsten electrodes.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard that the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area. Information and training was not designed to cover all applicable categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals:   a) Sheet Metal Shop - On or about 11/28/2018, the employer exposed employees to hazardous chemicals in that the employer failed to provide information and training to employees working with hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to propane, steel and tungsten electrodes.
