OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazards associated with being crushed or struck by falling objects:    Production Area:    The commercial steel storage racks used to store pallets of raw material such as carbon fiber and small metal parts were not maintained to prevent collapse of the racks.  Deficiencies included, but were not limited to:    a) Loading capacity of the steel storage racks in the Carbon Fiber Storage Area and the Stock Room had not been determined and racks labeled accordingly.      b) Columns of storage racks in the Carbon Fiber Storage Area and Stock Room that stored raw materials such as carbon fiber and metal bolts were not anchored to the floor.

The OSHA permissible exposure limit is 50 ppm.
