29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    (a) Drake Williams Steel, Inc. at 20400 E. 26th Ave. Aurora, CO 80011: On or before 5/2/19 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the Koike Aronson model MGM3100 and serial no. 41583 plasma table was not adequately guarded or equipped with presence sensing devices or trip switches on all sides of the machine. Only one side of the machine was equipped with any trip switches or e-stops. This condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards and amputation hazards.    (b) Drake Williams Steel, Inc. at 20400 E. 26th Ave. Aurora, CO 80011: On or before 5/2/19 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the Cincinnati radial arm drill/ milling machine (model: 2E, SN: 861) was not adequately guarded. This machine is used to drill countersinks in structural steel. This condition exposed employees to unguarded rotating parts as well as flying chips and particles.
