The exit signs in the warehouse were not visible due to the locations of the racks and stored materials. There were no exits in the cutting area storage room and there were no signs directing employees to the fabric unroll area. American Apparel, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1342568, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/4/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 800 Cedar Bluff Road, Centre, AL.
