29 CFR 1910.28(b)(3)(ii): Each employee was not protected from tripping into or stepping into or through any hole that was less than 4 feet (1.2 m) above a lower level by covers or guardrail systems: American Coach Lines of Atlanta, Norcross, GA - On or about 05/24/2019, and times prior to, employees were exposed to tripping hazards while walking and working near and around floor holes in the maintenance area. Employees were observed walking in the area and there were no warning signs posted.

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

The employer did not provide employees puncture resistant hand protection when cleaning buses, or ensure that puncture resistant hand protection was used. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
