29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s):   On or about June 5, 2019, on site of an auto dealership carwash under construction located at 5101 SE Federal Highway in Stuart, Florida, an employee was exposed to hazards associated with performing concrete preparation work prior to the employer providing an inspection of the worksite by a competent person to recognize potential hazards and determine the proper materials and equipment needed to perform the work safely.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  On or about June 5, 2019, on site of an auto dealership carwash under construction located at 5101 SE Federal Highway in Stuart, Florida, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 14 feet - 6 inches when performing concrete preparation work on the roof of a carwash under construction while not being protected from falling to the lower level.
