29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(ii): Only trained persons shall operate an aerial lift. On July 11, 2019, located in a parking lot near a loading dock area, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while operating a Terex High Ranger 5TC Series Aerial Work Platform that had not been trained by the employer in recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions to control or eliminate any hazards associated while operating an aerial work platform.

29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v): (v) A personal fall arrest or travel restraint system that meets the requirements in 29 CFR part 1910, subpart I, shall be worn and attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. On July 11, 2019, located in a parking lot near a loading dock area, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while operating a Terex High Ranger 5TC Series Aerial Work Platform without a fall protection system with lanyard attached to the anchor point.
