OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falls, caught-in, and crushed by hazards while working near the 140 baler in feed conveyor: 140 Baler In-Feed Conveyor: Employees were using push brooms to sweep excess material onto the in-feed conveyor that is approximately twenty (20) inches below the walking/working surface. Employees also used forklifts and skid steers to push undersized or damaged bales back into the system.
