29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:        a) On or about September 9, 2019, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 46 feet while performing roofing work without fall protection.    Fortec Building Group, LLC dba Fortec Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1230317, citation 2, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 19, 2017, with respect to a worksite located at 7650 Lakeview Terrace, Frankfort, Illinois.       Fortec Building Group, LLC dba Fortec Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1077920, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 19, 2015, with respect to a worksite located at 1257 Olive Road, Homewood, Illinois.        In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
