29 CFR 1910.334(d): Where flammable materials were present only occasionally, such as but not limited to flammable gases, vapors, or liquids; combustible dust; and ignitable fibers or flyings, electrical equipment capable of igniting them shall not be used; a) On or about 11/21/19 in the Munson Room; employees were exposed to explosion hazard when a Dayton brand wet/dry vacuum (model - 3VE21B), not approved for combustible dust, was used to provide dust collection for the pack-out chute on the Munson blender. b) On or about 11/21/19 in the Munson Room; employees were exposed to explosion hazard when a Dayton brand wet/dry vacuum (model - 3VE21B), not approved for combustible dust, was used to clean process areas where combustible dust may be present. c) On or about 11/21/19 throughout the facility; employees were exposed to an explosion hazard when a Tacony brand vacuum cleaner (model - Taskforce 94234), not approved for combustible dust, was used to vacuum the floors, equipment and other areas of the production area where fugitive dust (combustible dust) was present. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
