OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): OSHA ACT of Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and/or crushing hazards: Garage - Employees were exposed to crushing and/or struck by hazards while operating the two automotive lifts under the following conditions: a) - The AMCU lifts were not inspected on a yearly basis and maintenance and repair logs were not maintained. b) - The employer did not certify that operators of the lifts were trained. c) - Employees operated lift #1 with the safety release not working and without the generic safety labels present.
